The Benefits of Life Coaching
Life Coaching is essentially a practice that helps individuals or groups to attain certain goals and aspirations. It involves a Life Coach, or facilitator who specializes in helping people discover their strengths, develop their weaknesses, stir up passion, awaken dreams, create goals and action plans, and give a good bit of “coaching” through the process.
A Life Coach will help you to take responsibility for your life and guide you into creating a new life or completing a goal that you have. If you are ready for change in your life, then going to see a Life Coach may be all you need in order to create the momentum that you need to make that change.
Life Coaching is helpful, but it is not therapy in the traditional sense. A Life Coach is not a therapist or mental health counselor. He/she is simply talented at coaching people get past hurdles and road blocks in life.

A Life Coach can also give a good dose of motivation and inspiration. Just as athletic coaches like to give “prep” talks, Life Coaches like to “prep” clients in the same way. Typical Life Coaching sessions range from 30 to 45 minutes per week in person, by email, or via the phone. The internet is a wonderful tool that Life Coaches use to coach their clients. Some even use Skype so it is almost just like sitting in an office together, yet you can be thousands of miles apart.
