It’s Never Too Late To Change

So many people are stuck in a rut for one reason or another. It seems to be the same old thing day after day, year after year. I completely understand because I have been in those shoes. I have wanted “change” but seemingly unending obstacles continued to appear.

I have found through the years though, that change for me in any area begins with getting sick and tired of _____________. You fill in the blank. Sick and tired of being negative? Fearful? Overweight? Broke? In debt up to your ears? Lonely? Sad? I could go on and on.

Here’s a reality: When the pain gets great enough, you’re more inclined to do something different. This is where the rubber meets the road. When you are exhausted mentally and physically over your “issues”, it is then that you have the potential to make a life-altering decision.

DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT

For God’s sake, do something different. If you have desired to see change in an area for the past year or many years and you’ve yet to see it, then you MUST do something different. It’s no wonder you feel insane when you’ve been expecting different results doing the same old thing year after year.

It is never too late to change! If you are 12 or 72, you can change if you really want to. Of course change can take time and effort, so please don’t think it will be a cake walk, but I assure you that it is possible.

I want you to take a few minutes and really think about your life. Write down the things that you are not pleased with. Be honest. Too busy? Write it down. Depressed? Lonely? Bored? Broke? Scared? Write it all down.

Then I want you to really decide if you want to do the footwork toward change. You will have to commit to doing some things different. If it seems overwhelming, then take 1 thing you would like to change and solely focus on that for now. Write down your goal on the top of a piece of paper and then write down actions that you can take toward attaining that goal.

This is where people lose interest. The thought of actually writing out a goal and a plan to achieve that goal annoys people. It seems tedious, but I’m here to tell you that success leaves clues and successful people WRITE DOWN GOALS AND ACTION PLANS.

Not only do they write them down, they look at them EVERY DAY. They may even become a bit obsessed with them, but they do attaint them! (So obsession is not all bad.)

TAKE SMALL STEPS

Remember that one step at a time is wise. The first step is to write down your goals and create an action plan. The next step is to BEGIN. Immerse yourself with resources that will help you. If you struggle with depression, begin listening to uplifting audio and video.

Become an expert on how to beat the blues. If you are broke and have poor financial skills, determine to do better. Read up on personal finance tips daily and consider getting some financial help. You don’t have to be broke and disgusted the rest of your life!

I just know that change is possible no matter what your age or circumstances are. I have witnessed other people change and I have had much success myself. It comes with a price though. You must be willing to do something different, press through fear and doubt, motivate yourself daily, persevere, and maybe even sweat! The rewards are so worth it though!
