Employer Section

Work-Life Balance policies are an approach to employee relations which recognise the business as well as the social and personal benefits of balancing work with the other dimensions of people's lives. They consist predominantly of flexible work arrangements, voluntary employment breaks and a range of resource and referral services. This section of the website provides practical and relevant information developed by IBEC to help employers decide on the most suitable types of policies for their workplace and how to implement them. To be successful, work-life balance policies need to reflect the reality of individual workplaces. The variety of options to meet the many and diverse needs of employers and their employees are also presented and explained in this section of the site. See also www.ibec.ie for further information.
